New Nursery School on Via dell’Acquamarina / LERUA Studio

The New Nursery School on Via dell'Acquamarina in Olbia is conceived as an architectural intervention of strong civic and social significance, designed to respond thoughtfully to the growing demand for spaces dedicated to early childhood care and education. The facility is sized to accommodate 85 children between 2 and 36 months of age, organized into three functional groups—infants, semi-toddlers, and toddlers—according to a pedagogical framework aligned with the most up-to-date national guidelines and the developmental needs of each age group.

Unbuilt Visions for the Centre Pompidou Presented at “Concours Beaubourg 1971” Exhibition in Paris

On January 30, an exhibition entitled "Concours Beaubourg 1971: Une mutation de l'architecture" opened in Paris, showcasing archival material from the competition that resulted in the selection of the current Centre Pompidou, designed by Renzo Piano and Richard Rogers between 1969 and 1974. In view of the building's recent closure for renovation, approximately 100 archival documents, including some never before exhibited from the Centre Pompidou's collections (plans, drawings, photographs, models, etc.), are on display at the Académie d'Architecture at Place des Vosges until February 22, 2026. Co-produced by the Académie d'Architecture and the Centre Pompidou, with support from the École nationale supérieure d'architecture de Saint-Étienne, the exhibition presents alternative, imaginative, and sometimes unbuildable proposals for the building. It offers a review of a fertile period in architectural history, highlighting the lasting effects of the "Beaubourg competition" on the discipline and profession.

If heritage has long been defined by what endures, architecture repeatedly shows that cultural authority can also belong to what gathers people.

Children and Family Support Center Terra

Located in Kofu City, this facility offers three distinct services: consultation for disadvantaged families and children within the community, medical counseling, and staff training. These three functions are performed separately in three buildings: the Center Building consists of consultation rooms and administrative offices and serves as an operational hub overseeing the entire facility; the Clinic Building is where medical counseling is provided, and the Training Building is dedicated to professional training for all staff members of the organization managing the center. The construction was carried out in two phases. In Phase 1, the Center Building and the Clinic Building were completed in 2021. In Phase 2, the Training Building was completed in 2022.
