Tighty Whitey House / Maytree Studios

On a steep, compact site in inner-city Brisbane, Tighty Whitey House redefines what's possible within a small urban footprint. Designed by Maytree Studios, the project challenges conventional ideas about scale, privacy, and density—proving that clever design and restraint can create generosity in the most modest conditions.

Marea is a multi-family development on the Mediterranean just outside the city of Batroun, one of the oldest cities in the world. Our project investigates density by combining an approach towards shared circulation and infrastructure with the construction of private terraces featuring extraordinary views.

La Primavera House is located in the rural area of Calera de Tango, in Chile's Metropolitan Region. Set on a 20,000 m² flat site, the project consists of a single-level family residence with a built area of 650 m².

As everywhere else, demand for childcare and, beyond that, advice and support for families is growing in Nenzing. Close to the town centre, the market town has now combined these two functions in one building: the 'Allesamt' family centre with childcare, a nursery, and a spacious advice area for parents and families. Anyone travelling by train in Walgau will certainly have seen the new building as they pass by. The striking wooden building designed by Christian Schmoelz Architekt is located just before or shortly after Nenzing railway station, directly on the railway line.
