Huangyan Quarry Cultural & Art Center / DnA

The Huangyan Quarry Revitalization Project represents our continued focus on the socioeconomic, ecological, and cultural dimensions of post-industrial landscapes. Unlike the previous stone quarry transformations in remote rural areas of Jinyun, the Huangyan Quarry is located in a more urbanised environment adjacent to the city proper. Consequently, its programming caters to a younger demographic, evolving into a vibrant public node integrated into the city's daily rhythms. Huangyan District, part of Taizhou City in Zhejiang Province, lies at the center of Zhejiang's Golden Coast. With the airport only 26 km away and the high-speed rail station just 5.3 km away, it enjoys convenient access and strong regional connectivity. The region has abundant forests and mineral resources, and boasts three golden business cards: "Yongning, with a History of Over a Thousand Years, Origin of Chinese Oranges, and the Mold Capital".

Satguru’s Rendezvous / Nudes

Satguru's Rendezvous asserts a dominant presence in Mumbai's ever-evolving skyline, a city shaped by stringent building codes and regulations. Rising nearly 300 feet, the 22-storey luxury condominium features a tiered profile and pink facade, a bold departure from the sea of anonymous grey towers dotting the city. The project reimagines a former residential tower by extending its height and modulating its form. These interventions impart a distinctive identity to the structure, transforming it into a prominent landmark that soars above the streets of Bandra. The project's brief was to redefine the concept of luxury living in the context of Mumbai's bustling urban landscape. At its core, the design aims to capture the spirit of the city, at once vibrant, eclectic, and full of surprises.

Haras House / Felipe Hess Arquitetos

The Haras House is a single-story residence built on a trapezoidal lot. The "C" shaped volume organizes the spaces around a central courtyard, which features a garden, a porch, and a 25-meter lane, integrated into the resident's daily routine. The design prioritizes privacy and the direct relationship between internal and external spaces.

Bachgraben Public Pool Restaurant / MET Architects

The Gartenbad Bachgraben public swimming pool was designed by Otto and Walter Senn with engineer Heinz Hossdorf and built in 1962. Its concrete buildings are key examples of post-war modernism and are listed in the Basel-Stadt monument preservation inventory. The service building near the main entrance had seen only partial renovation since its construction and required a full refurbishment. The staff areas no longer met operational needs, and the restaurant had been closed since 2011.
