FIABA NEST Cafe / flw8studio

Inspired by the name of a bird, FIABA's tables embody the brand's signature flowing curves and meticulous detailing. To provide an immersive experience of these pieces, the FIABA design team created a new showroom called FIABA NEST—a space intended to feel as warm and embracing as a bird's nest, while maintaining the brand's refined elegance.

Matraville Youth and Cultural Hall / Sam Crawford Architects

A grove of mature native trees determined the plan of a new community hall in Sydney's eastern suburbs. The inverted L-shaped layout allowed the trees to be retained, with a much-loved blackbutt tree informing the geometry of the entry sequence.

Teacher's House / Øblicuo

Located in Dos Bocas, in the province of El Seibo, Dominican Republic, a community that for generations has been dedicated to livestock and agriculture as its main source of income.

Ria House / Mário Martins Atelier

The house is called Casa da Ria as it is near the Alvor Estuary, over which it has panoramic and ever changing views due to the varying tides.
