TRANS(h)itos Installation / Conjuntos Empáticos

This installation is in the cloister of Sant Domenec in Balaguer, between October 1-15, 2022, as a piece of experimentation of architectural space in close relationship with the memory of women. Architecture is that canvas, seemingly impassive, on which the succession of our passing unfolds, those walls that if they spoke would reveal the traces of endless stories that preceded our time.

Milguaduas House / ritmo arquitectos

Surrounded by a native guadua forest, Milguaduas strives to belong to its environment and fit seamlessly in a descending terrain. The house goes beyond being immersed in nature. It builds up expectations by presenting an introverted first impression with its pristine white walls, a guadua screen that reveals glimpses inward, as well as an optical illusion that conceals the entrance.

Alusta Pavilion / Maiju Suomi + Elina Koivisto

Alusta pavilion located in Helsinki in the courtyard of the Designmuseum and the Museum of Finnish Architecture offers a space for multispecies encounters from June 2022 until October 2023. The research pavilion explores the intertwined quality of nature and culture and searches for ways to care for biodiversity in urban environments. The pavilion functions as a platform for environmental discourse, both on the level of its materiality and multisensory experience, and the different activities which take place there. It comprises a pollinator-friendly meadow and structures made with clay in different forms; unfired and fired brick and rammed earth. Alusta is realized by a multidisciplinary group led by architects Maiju Suomi and Elina Koivisto.

Uruguay House / Occa Urbana

The architecture of Casa Uruguai, signed by Occa Urbana Arquitetura, is an authentic summer house, located in the Condomínio Sense at Xangri-Lá beach. The lot, following the pattern of the local gated communities, is 15x30m with a south face privileged by the beautiful views of the lake. The residence is distributed on two floors, with a generous social area to receive family and friends, a super equipped service area for the demands of visitors, and a comfortable and cozy intimate area. The insertion site has conditions that further favor this beautiful project, the sun surrounds the house during the day toasting us with an incredible sunset, reflected in the lake and providing unique sensations.
