Trinity Tower / Cro&Co Architecture

Designed by Cro&Co Architecture, Trinity Tower serves as a model and manifesto for the tall building of the future, imagined with well-being and sustainability at the heart through reconnecting users to their environment. Located in the Paris La Défense business district, Trinity Tower is a 32-story high-rise built atop a seven-lane roadway, an impressive feat of civil engineering and a first in France. Besides 46,000 m² of office space and 4,000 m² of services, the development includes over 3,500m² of public space, facilitating open interaction throughout to bring together various formerly disconnected neighborhoods.

The main idea begins with the client’s initiative to live immersed in the forest, always in direct contact with the surroundings. The first approach was based on mid-century houses, this was an important starting point for the main concept of the house, trying to reinterpret single-family houses.

Cholan Nests House / La Cabina de la Curiosidad + Marie Combette + Daniel Moreno Flores

The original house is a simple construction in the rural area of Perucho (35 km from Quito), with a block wall structure initially designed as a warehouse. Little by little it has been inhabited, patched, and fixed, when necessary, for which, a complete rehabilitation was needed to realize the potential of the space.
