Cut Ceilings and Dyslexic Ornaments House / Corpo Atelier

The complete whiteness of a small traditional house is interrupted by cuts that display natural materials. Inside, two types of white ceilings are purposefully incomplete, revealing the wood beams that hold the first floor and the roof structure.

AEME Building / Paz Arquitectura

AEME is a building located in Guatemala City. It has an open floor plan on the first floor dedicated to commercial use and restaurants, a second floor that combines commerce and offices, and three floors exclusively dedicated to offices. The first floor is connected to the street through a double-height entrance with the purpose of emphasizing the opening towards a friendly urban use, with an aim to allow the first floor to be interpreted as an extension of the public space.

House With Courtyards / Christos Pavlou Architecture

On a large piece of land located a few kilometers outside of Nicosia, in an inhospitable and desolate landscape, the owners decide to build their "shelter". With no particular views, no neighbors, and not much greenery other than reeds along a dry ditch, the surrounding rural space does not lend itself to extroversion. Between city and nature, isolation and sociability, we are invited to create comfortable and safe living conditions in a completely hostile environment.

The Mill House / Valentino Architects

Reflecting the old and announcing the new, a glazed walkway links three distinct 16th-century dwelling spaces, shifting from reflection to translucency as the day progresses from morning to night.
