Golden Rose Hotel / noa* network of architecture

Architectural Patchwork. The property dates back to the 15th century and is said to have hosted Queen Victoria on her journey through in 1891. Goldene Rose was the first building purchased by the hotel's current owner. Fortunately, the four neighboring properties to the rear were also gradually put up for sale. This gave rise to the idea of grouping all the buildings under one roof, with particular attention paid to preserving the historic structure. For the planning and execution of the redesign, the client turned to noa*, which has a great deal of experience with projects in heritage-listed contexts and is well-versed in dealing with building fabric where nary a right angle is to be found.

Houses / Unemori Architects

There are two houses in a quiet residential area with verdant greenery. One is my own house, and the other is my sister-in-law`s family. While the two families wanted to live independently, they also wished to support one another and desired to establish a common space such as a garden and atelier to enjoy a lifestyle that allows for a sense of expansion that is difficult to achieve as a single household.

Leading House / FORM | Kouichi Kimura Architects

The site is faced with the street which, as one of the old Five Routes, used to be busy and crowded with many merchants and travelers. To the north of the house is a river running beyond a road. The location is blessed with a nice mountain view in the distance.

Apartments Filipovice / CL3 Architects

The contemporary, almost minimalist simple concept of the buildings is a freestyle transcription of the traditional morphology of the original architecture of Jeseniky. The classic gable roof completes the basic mass on the rectangular foundations. Both buildings are completely clad with a typical material of local origin – larch shingles in the natural design.
