KOYO BASE Dining Café and Shop / Atelier Write

KOYO BASE, operated by tableware manufacturer Koyo Toki, is an experienced facility to produce ceramic in Toki City, Gifu Prefecture, Japan. The project is to convert the former warehouse building into a dining cafe, shop, and other facilities. Toki City is one of the leading ceramic production areas in Japan, developed by its high-quality clay, and accounts for the majority of ceramic production in Japan.

Unique House / blaq arquitectos

The project is a complete renovation of a unit in the popular housing complex plan developed in the 1970s in the Colon Oriente sector of Santiago. This plan aimed to integrate and address the housing deficit and reduce segregation due to the explosive demographic growth of that time. This urbanization consists of approximately 200 identical basic construction of 60 square meters of rectangular-shaped houses with gable roofs, built with reinforced masonry and wooden roofs, with poor lighting and a height of only 208 cm.

Wientalterrassen Residential Quarter / Berger+Parkkinen Architekten

The 30,000 m2 flagship residential quarter Wientalterrassen in Käthe-Dorsch-Gasse in Vienna's 14th district was recently completed by the Austrian-Finnish architectural firm Berger + Parkkinen in a joint venture with architect Christoph Lechner & Partner. The residential complex was awarded klimaaktiv Gold and, with its energy concept, extensive use of green roofs, solar cells, and energy technology innovations, is a prime example of sustainability in practice in construction and operation. Berger+Parkkinen, who was awarded the Austrian State Prize for Architecture and Sustainability 2021, provides another example of their expertise in future-oriented, ecologically- conscious architecture with this project.
