Bukchon One is a cafe located in the center of several stays as a follow-up to Nostelgia Hiddenjae. Breakfast services are provided to customers who use Stay, and anyone can come and enjoy coffee and desserts at ordinary times. This cafe is located in Bukchon, so the majority of foreign customers wanted to feel the beauty of Korea through the Korean traditional architectural structure or finishing materials.

Thirteenth Beach House / MGAO

This project is a private residence located in the links Golfcourse development in Thirteenth Beach, a small coastal town located along the Victorian Coastline. Being located in a fairly ‘residential’ housing development, we responded to the client's brief by creating an inward-focused, Courtyard house. Providing the residents with a sense of seclusion within a rapidly developing housing estate.

MIT Kendall Square Site 5 / Weiss/Manfredi

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology is developing Kendall Square, where the City of Cambridge and MIT merge, to encourage the integration of business and academic research. The Kendall Square area is characterized by a variety of architectural styles, scales, and material palettes. As a key member of a focused design team, Weiss/Manfredi worked closely with MIT to develop an urban plan for the district that was responsive to this context and consistent with MIT’s programmatic goals. Weiss/Manfredi was then chosen to design 314 Main Street, known as MIT’s Site 5, which houses the MIT Press, the MIT Museum, and 12 floors of incubator office and research space.
