Nanhai Guicheng Jingui High School / Atelier cnS

During the process of urban development in 2020, Foshan city made quite impressive achievements, especially the population increase ranks fifth all over the country. In order to attract more people to stay, the city has improved and increased the infrastructure construction and many of which can be compared to the developed cities. As one of the most central urban areas in Foshan, Guicheng has also launched a series of urban development plans. To offer a better education environment to the immigrants, the plan shows a focus on the construction of new schools and the improvement of educational facilities. One of the key new projects is the Nanhai Guicheng Jingui High School (tentative name).

Late.Vamanrao Pitambare College / Amruta Daulatabadkar Architects adaa

Situated on a small plot on the outskirts of Aurangabad city, the Late Vamanrao Pitambare Institute is a building that caters to higher secondary and undergraduate students from the city and neighboring villages. Located adjacent to a highway outside the city, the context is a sparsely built neighborhood, with a few residential and commercial establishments, and many unbuilt plots with wild vegetation and trees. One can enjoy from here, the views of hills and greenery in the distance. 

Eastbound Offices / West of West

Eastbound is a 230,000-square-foot creative office campus in East Austin that seamlessly integrates flexible workspaces, community amenities, public art, and public greenspaces to create a richly layered experience for office workers. Inspired by the visual language of warehouses and industrial structures in the dynamic East Austin neighborhood, the two-building complex’s large, punched openings and linear massing reinterpret the character of nearby buildings without replicating them.

Educar II SESC-CE School / Rede Arquitetos

The Educar II School SESC-CE project is located in the Damas neighborhood, in Fortaleza, on a longitudinal east-west site, with approximate dimensions of 350.00m by 50.00m, with two fronts for the main roads and also three transverse accesses in its southern portion. In addition to these conditions, the project also dealt with some pre-existing conditions: a chapel that serves the local community; a gymnasium to be renovated and incorporated into the school's project; and an old building where part of the school already operated but which should be demolished for the construction of the new building.
