St Christina's Primary School / Paul Murphy Architects

A complex refurbishment and new-build delivers inspiring teaching spaces for London primary. Located in a dense residential location in St John’s Wood, just north of Regents Park, St Christina’s Roman Catholic Preparatory School was built in the early 1960’s and shares the site with a Chapel and a Convent who are also the Trustees of the School.

Kingswood House / Archaea Architects

The site presented an attractive 1910 return verandah villa that sat quietly amongst its neighbors. At the rear, a 70s addition prevented connection to the deep site and the northern landscape. The client’s brief was underlined by two core requests. Firstly, a house that could support a growing family, particularly the changing needs of their young children. Secondly, a house that radiated warmth and held a clear sense of home through a collection of spaces that fostered restorative living and a lifestyle away from the demands of working as medical doctors, free of clinical shades of white.

Farnham House / Foomann Architects

Farnham is home to an illustrator, her builder partner, and their three young children. The clients engaged Foomann to design an extension to their brick home, with a kitchen, dining, and living area downstairs and a study or guest room upstairs. This compact extension offers a relaxed, robust interior with varied spaces, natural light, outdoor connections, and views throughout.

N.M House No.4 / Daniel Arev Architecture

This house was designed for a couple. Their request was for a small and cozy home, with large windows allowing them to enjoy the garden while still maintaining privacy, and keeping ample wall area for their art collection.
