The project is a result of a land allocation competition held by the city of Stockholm. The city asked for a plus-energy building with rental apartments and an architectural design that would express the high ambitions of energy efficiency. The public housing company Stockholmshem put together a team of experts, and DinellJohansson was commissioned to develop the architectural design. We won the competition, and Stockholmshem got the land allocation to build the project.

The Ulanhad Volcano Geopark is situated within the Ulanhad Sumu administrative area of Chahar Right Back Banner, Ulanqab City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The park is renowned for its concentration of grassland volcanoes, lava landforms, and dammed lake landscapes, earning it the reputation as a natural "Volcano Museum" and representing a highly distinctive natural landscape. The project is located within the courtyard of a herder's residence on the northern side of the Ulanhad Volcano Geopark. It comprises guest rooms, a restaurant, a café, a reception center, and service facilities, collectively providing visitors with accommodation, dining, leisure, and entertainment services.

This project is an interior design transformation of a 150-square-meter duplex residence in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, crafted for a musician-artist. The design explores the essential idea of home through the abstraction of a cave, a sanctuary that offers both protection and perspective, while drawing inspiration from the Moon, a symbol of duality and emotional depth.
