For their latest retail design for the hip golf lifestyle brand, Malbon, the Los Angeles-based 22RE approached the design of the Malbon Miami boutique from all angles: the aesthetic, functional, and sensational.

Located in a suburban neighborhood of Toronto, the design of this family home is guided by the presence of a large willow tree on the site. Rather than conforming to the orientation of the typical suburban fabric of the area, the home prioritizes the tree as a primary feature. The design consists of three simple rectangular volumes that are rotated to accommodate the tree's root system, respond to the site boundaries, and provide ample natural light to the interior spaces.

The Ilirija swimming pool with its 25-meter outdoor pool, designed by Stanko Bloudek in 1929, was dilapidated and no longer met sporting requirements. The listed entrance building was retained. In 1995, the new capital city of Ljubljana decided to build an Olympic 50-meter pool with additional infrastructure. Unlike in many cities, the new Športni Park Ilirija was built in the city center, a sustainable decision that significantly reduces traffic and celebrates the national importance of sport.

Canal Pavilion Post is a public welfare renovation project of a temporary building, located by Gongchen Bridge on the Hangzhou section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. It covers an area of 10 square meters, stands over 2 meters high, and has a simple wooden structure. We are used to calling it "Little Box" because of its square and simple shape, which makes it easy to understand at a glance. The client hopes to transform this originally vacant wooden house into a scenic post that provides free drinking water and rest spaces for tourists. Meanwhile, it will serve as a publicity spot for the street and Gongchen Bridge – a landmark historical building in Hangzhou – and sell some tourist souvenirs and cultural and creative products.
