Wuhan LuxeIsland Pavilion / ZHIFEI ARCHITECTURE DESIGN

In response to the growing desire to escape urban concrete jungles, Wuhan LuxeIsland emerges as a natural utopia on the city's fringe. This cultural tourism destination, conceived by Wuhan Wide Horizon Real Estate, embodies a vision of harmonious coexistence between people and the environment. Guided by a "low-intervention, high-integration" philosophy, the project allows nature to take center stage while architecture and landscape engage in continuous dialogue, weaving a coherent narrative of nature from macro scale to minute detail.

Tucked away in the quiet landscape of Arimbur, Thrissur, Nivriti unfolds as a residence that is equal parts retreat and homecoming. Designed for an NRI family who inhabits it briefly each year, the house was conceived as a sanctuary inviting in its warmth, yet secure and grounded in its setting.

The design of the Buenos Aires House is based on the overlapping of two volumes on a lot with two fronts. The upper volume, denser and marked by concrete slats, rests on the monochromatic ground floor, which combines paint and metal sheets in shades of gray.

This expansion of the existing Nature Centre aims to enhance engagement with and access to the federally designated Inglewood Bird Sanctuary.
