Hermit Resort / Domain Architects

The project site is close to a famous ancient relic—the Xing Kiln Ruins. Dating back over 1,500 years, these kiln remnants have lost much of their architectural detail to the passage of time, yet the layout of the kilns remains vividly clear. The most typical arrangement features several kiln chambers arranged in a horseshoe shape, semi-enclosing a small courtyard, allowing a single craftsman to oversee multiple chambers simultaneously.

Hiraya Pavilion in Sapporo / YKAA

Conceived as a small multifunctional pavilion and studio, the project began with a simple question: how can we create a sense of openness and generosity within a limited footprint while keeping costs low?

Fidalga Apartment / Gurgel D’Alfonso Arquitetura

Conceived for a young family passionate about gastronomy and the art of hosting, the Fidalga Apartment — located in the heart of Vila Madalena neighborhood, São Paulo — reflects a contemporary, dynamic, and affectionate way of living. The couple, content creators for a culinary YouTube channel, sought a versatile space to accommodate both work and daily life with their two small children.

Hudson L-House / Steven Holl Architects

A simple 'L' in custom corrugated aluminum forms a south-facing green courtyard. The 1,700- square-foot house, proposed on a vacant lot, completes the fine urban fabric of Hudson, New York. Designed for renowned modern furniture gallerists Mark McDonald and Dwayne Resnick, it serves as both a live-work space and a midcentury collector's paradise.
