The moment when daily life becomes a scene. A false phenomenon that seems real but does not exist is the dictionary definition of "virtual." Now that unprecedented technologies are being incorporated into everyday life and are living together, we have entered an era where we cannot help but consider various virtualities as real. The act of entrusting work to AI, the lack of fandom between avatar singers and real singers, and the popularization of AR-based games make us feel that the scope of virtuality has changed significantly.

House JN109 / SUAV

Located in Madrid’s Chamberí district, along the Paseo de la Habana, this residence occupies the top floor of a building constructed in 1973—an example of Spain’s 1970s architectural language, marked by pragmatism, industrial materiality, and a drive toward modernization. The building's original features—exposed brick and steel—speak to this era’s emphasis on functionality over ornament.

Widna Haven Community Center and Library / PB STUDIO

The primary goal of the project was to create a contemporary public space that would foster social interaction, relaxation, and a sense of community among local residents of all ages and backgrounds. A key element of the concept was the formation of an intimate inner courtyard, made possible through the strategic placement of the new buildings on the site. This layout enabled the investor to realize the full potential of the plot, despite its challenging location at a major intersection within the district.

Garage Building into 63 Apartment Building / Atelier Tequi Architects

Built in 1957 by the architect Claude Béraud, winner of the first Grand Prix de Rome, this former garage is located at 58-60 Avenue Parmentier in the 11th arrondissement of Paris. The project involved extensive renovation and restructuring of the building, as well as a three-story extension with a mixed wood-metal structure, a frame facade, and wood cladding. The existing volume has been preserved, raised, and pierced with courtyards and gardens, allowing for the development of 63 residential units and a commercial space. The project, therefore, includes the preservation of almost the entire garage structure.
