Hotel Bellman Berlin-Neukoelln / Tchoban Voss Architekten

On the corner of Karl-Marx-Strasse and Grenzallee, the Hotel Bellman Berlin-Neukoelln is a new building with a striking, golden bronze-coloured aluminium and glass façade that makes an architectural statement in the lively neighbourhood inspired by the raw energy of New York's Meatpacking District. The seven-storey perimeter block development blends homogeneously into the neighborhood thanks to its street-side, closed construction, and gives the deserted street corner a structural conclusion. The building heights, building lines, and building depths mediate between the partially Wilhelminian-style neighboring buildings. The staggered backs of the respective building corners adapt to the eaves heights typical of the area, break up the otherwise homogeneous façade grid, and become a varied design element.

House Pinhal Conde da Cunha / Estúdio AMATAM

A ribbon of shadow and light: a continuous gesture that draws a house and unites its volumes. Set within a plot of limited dimensions, governed by a subdivision regulation largely indifferent to formal or spatial diversity, this house emerges from a desire to transcend the constraints imposed upon it. In a context often marked by the repetition of hermetic volumes and the absence of meaningful dialogue with the exterior, the guiding concept of this project seeks precisely to counter that tendency: it explores the continuity between interior and exterior, between solid and void, between the rigidity of the plot and its legal boundaries and the fluidity of domestic life.

River Residence Tirana / Davide Macullo Architects

Architecture is more than constructing buildings—it is about creating places where people feel at home, spaces that enrich daily life, and connect with their surroundings. With River Residences, we set out to craft an experience that balances intimacy and openness, structure and freedom, nature and the city. This project was born from a shared vision with Orion Construction, one that prioritises emotion over convention, and well-being over rigid efficiency. It is an invitation to live in a space that feels natural, timeless, and full of life, a place that grows with its residents and becomes part of their stories. River Residences marks the gateway to a new neighbourhood in Tirana, comprising approximately 200 homes with a total construction area of about 25,000 square meters. Part of a broader project, it integrates seamlessly into its designated site, with its square-shaped layout emphasising its strategic position as a connection point between the countryside, the city's infrastructure, and the new neighbourhood.

Yeonheun Roasters / Sherpa

A scar is a trace caused by a natural phenomenon. Based on this, I worked while respecting the appearance of the existing building as much as possible and leaving traces. The old terrazzo floor was restored, and the windows hidden in the existing building were reused by replacing only the glass.
