3Gang House / Space + Architecture

At the outset of the design process, the young couple, both working remotely from home, approached the project with a refreshingly open mindset. Rather than bringing a predetermined vision or detailed brief, they entrusted the design team with a blank canvas, allowing ideas to emerge organically through conversation and shared imagination. Their only clear desire was for the house to serve as a holistic space: a place that supports both their daily work routines and their evolving lifestyle as a growing family.

Inhabited Work in Huayruro / INSITU oficina de arquitectura

In Peru, 93% of urban growth is self-produced (Espinoza, 2022), occurring progressively over long periods of execution and waiting. In this context, architecture is almost always too expensive, too slow, especially when it involves the recovery of unconventional construction knowledge, where adequate access to specialized labor represents high costs due to limited access to technical knowledge.

Apartment SL / BRH+

BRH+ designs the renovation and interior of a historical apartment in the heart of the centre of Turin. The space is intended as a laboratory of new grammars of the relationship between ancient and contemporary expressive languages. The architectural project, characterized by calibrated functionality and by sartorial design down to the smallest detail, responds to the owners' need to house their collection of contemporary art. The project is confronted with the complexities of a highly constrained context and aims to protect its 19th-century identity features, adapting to today's performance standards with innovative and unobtrusive plant engineering solutions. The flat is located in a building of particular historical interest, Palazzo Pucci Baudana, listed as one of the city's architectural sites of value by the Superintendence. The premises were built in 1841 and are characterised by an orderly and dryly linear composition of the façades, in the Borgo Nuovo district – an area destined for the nobility and built to the south-east of the ancient city by the will of King Victor Emmanuel I of Savoy.

Hortus Installation / Banco!

Just as a play cannot exist without an audience, a landscape exists through the eyes of those who look at it. Actor or spectator, the roles here don't seem fixed, quite the opposite. Everyone who visits this place plays a part in the fragile balance of the site and contributes to the production of the landscape in its current state. By building a form of « proscenium », the installation will reveal the play that is played out around it every day, and question the roles of everyone involved.
