Gralhas House / OSPA Arquitetura e Urbanismo

Located in a bucolic neighborhood of Canela, RS, Brazil, Casa Gralhas was designed as a weekend retreat for a couple with children. The layout of the residence aims to create spaces with a strong connection to the outdoor areas, while maintaining privacy. Three vertical planes of exposed brick are arranged longitudinally, defining two zones: one more enclosed for support and another for living, with transparent ends that facilitate a connection to the property’s gardens.

Lagunen II Shopping Center / BIOSIS

In Bergen - one of Europe's rainiest cities - Copenhagen-based BIOSIS has completed Lagunen II, a climate-adaptive, community-focused expansion of Norway's largest shopping centre. The 15,000-square-meter extension redefines the role of the contemporary mall by transforming it into an open, light-filled urban environment shaped directly by the coastal climate and the daily rhythms of its surrounding neighborhood.

Brussels Dual Residence / Atelier Tom Vanhee

The Brussels townhouse consists of three stories with an attic, a basement level, and a rear extension with an intermediate level. The ground floor connects directly to a walled garden. Characteristic elements such as interior joinery, ceiling mouldings, and original wooden plank floors are preserved as much as possible and remain defining features of the building.

De Piek Waterfront Residential Tower / KCAP

Urban Catalyst - Standing 74 meters tall at the tip of Feijenoord Island, De Piek transforms a neglected parking lot into a vibrant waterfront hub. This residential tower brings new life to a previously overlooked industrial area in South Rotterdam, with 142 apartments and a ground-floor café that opens the quay to public use. Strategically positioned next to the Piek bridge, De Piek is part of a broader vision to convert the former industrial zone into a lively urban quarter blending residential, commercial, and public functions. The tower creates space where living, meeting, and relaxation converge, restoring the relationship between city and river. As the first project in a series of planned developments, it demonstrates the area's potential and sets the stage for future transformation: a place where industrial rawness meets contemporary urban vitality.
