Meco Tiny House / Madeiguincho

The starting point for the Meco Tiny House on Wheels project was the idea of a versatile and “fun” house where both the clients and their kids could enjoy a comfortable working space but also stimulate the children to play. Following the client's will of expressing this idea of “fun” made it become incorporated into the general idea of the house but also in its most minor details. Besides the layout and aesthetical design, the clients also wished their house to work as an off-grid system which has to consider a significant amount of space destined for its technical setup.

Office Park Lokeren / NWLND Rogiers Vandeputte

Office Park is developed during the transition between an industrial complex and suburban housing. The project organized the site in long strips running from north to south: a green buffer zone facing the suburban neighborhood, a strip of parking, an 80-meter-long building zone, and a ditch for natural water infiltration along the side of the main road. Four cores are placed within a simple structure sitting in the building zone.

Yoshita’machiya House / OHArchitecture

"Misalignment and road room" - Reconstruction of a townhouse built in a semi-fireproof area in central Kyoto. It is an area that is sandwiched between four-story buildings on both sides and has only the remnants of a townhouse landscape with alleys remaining on the north side. Kyoto has many alleys as an extension of life, albeit miscellaneous, and often has a small community. By drawing in this alley space three-dimensionally, I thought of a space composition that would induce family communication.
