This is a plan for a yakiniku restaurant in a tenant building near Omori Station, where there are many restaurants. In this bustling neighborhood with many restaurants, there are already many competing restaurants, so we decided to make all seats semi-private in order to differentiate the restaurant from others.

El Pangue House / Felipe Combeau + Andrea Murtagh

Two hours' drive northwest of Santiago in the exclusive coast town of Zapallar, this weekend house was designed to reveal and heighten its specific context and benefit from the gentle Mediterranean climate that the central Pacific coast of Chile offers. Three specific site characteristics forced this project to search for a particular arrangement. First, the lot has a little ocean view bounded by a neighbor's house and a group of pine trees. Second, north sun exposure is almost perpendicular to the ocean view, and third, the site is limited to a protected creek full of conifers and native species.

River Point / Pickard Chilton

River Point is a 52-story, 1.08 million square foot office tower located in Chicago’s West Loop at Lake Street and the Chicago River. The design features a striking convex form that provides panoramic city views. A graceful parabolic arch frames the sloped red travertine lobby wall and reflects the river for passers-by. The building’s dramatic three-story lobby opens onto an expansive 1.5 acre riverside public plaza and newly created Riverwalk, the latest addition to Chicago’s unique riverfront.

Wedge House / Urban Soul Project

This vacation house outside the village of Methoni in Pylos teases the common image of the houses at the area (orthogonal with a four-pitched tiled roof) and the composition emerges as a gesture of plastic treatment of a surface that forms the roof.
