Three Summits House / Estudio Gutiérrez Irribarran

The Tres Cumbres house is part of a two-house project in southern Chile, between fields of strong agricultural character dominated by barns and gabled sheds. From this context arises the need to insert harmoniously into the landscape and make the contemporary quality of life compatible with the tradition of the countryside that surrounds us.

HOW the internal relationship of the house as an architectural cell with the city was the main intention behind designing this project. The location of the building is the land obtained from the owner’s old building with the dimensions of 10×20 meters, placed in the crowded street of Ostadan and the 8-meter back alley, in Hamedan City. The main problem is seeking a response to the issue of the direct/indirect relations in the house living space with these two external passageways/cities. In the old houses of Hamedan City, the porch is considered an active living space connecting the indoors to the outdoors.

MATE Flagship Store / Spacon & X

Not only did Spacon & X develop a physical retail environment for a boundary-pushing experience for MATE but also transcended into a digital space where they were released from the limitations of physics. Integrating a virtual experience in space enables the customers to see deeper into the imaginative universe they have developed alongside MATE.

Roma Tre University Building / Mario Cucinella Architects

Three elliptical green and white steel-framed towers, a glass-faced auditorium with a street frontage, a new public piazza, and a raised “hanging garden” are the key distinguishing elements of the Rectorate of Roma Tre, a striking new development designed by Mario Cucinella Architects at the heart of Rome’s third university.
