Panyapiwat Institute of Management has a goal to expand the institution into the hub to support the development of manpower to meet the manufacturing demands of the industrial sector in the Eastern Special Development Zone (EEC). The campus aims to accommodate up to 5,000 students in an area of 99-rai, with provisions for future development expansions. As there was no clear program for the campus expansion or proposed number of users, the main challenge was to create a flexible design that could be adapted to a variety of functions, uses, and activities.

The Skyward Home / S Squared Architects

The “Skyward” home is located on an 18 cents East facing narrow plot, located in a rural residential area in Haripad, Kerala. The clients approached S Squared Architects to build a home for them that would be simple, devoid of any pretensions from the outside but comfortable and convenient on the inside.

Arbour Hotel and Residence Pattaya / Architects 49

The 23-story Arbour Hotel and Residence in the heart of Pattaya is surrounded by existing smaller buildings. The design concept was to integrate nature into the urban environment, with consideration towards causing minimal impact on the surrounding buildings right from the planning stage.

Ranch Workspace / Juan Barbero Arquitecto

As a result of a series of projects linked to creating flexible spaces from the use of disused shipping containers, a ranch emerged. A mobile device ready to function as a home, office, workshop, showroom, hotel room, etc. In this particular case, an architecture studio differentiates itself from the traditional urban offices by creating a more relaxed workspace linked to nature. With the aim of reducing the impact on the environment, off-site construction is proposed, optimizing construction time and resources for its construction.
