Yangpu Riverside Public Space / Da landscape

The 12th Cotton Mill in the southern section of Yangpu Riverfront is the first plot to be developed in the 5.5km shoreline, which completed its transformation from industrial to commercial use 20 years ago. Unfortunately, the earlier development strategy did not preserve any historical relics,leaving a wasteland. In the context of the connection of the Huangpu River waterfront public space, the design team focused on addressing the dual challenges updating the flood control system and the echoing historical memory.

Morris Moor Commercial and Hospitality Precinct / Genton

Genton’s recently completed Morris Moor project transforms the site of the former Phillip Morris cigarette factory into a vibrant commercial and hospitality precinct that draws the community in and celebrates local heritage. Situated on a prominent corner intersected by two main roads, the buildings have acted as a landmark for the Moorabbin community since the 1950s, distinctive among the uniformity of prefabricated warehouses. “The cultural significance of the industrial Architecture was too great to disregard,” says Genton Principal Marc Debney.

Through the Layers House / Mawi Design

Context - In the lush labyrinths of T. Nagar, Chennai, this residence sits on the far end of a triangular plot that naturally allows for a paced first look. The brief was to give new meaning to an existing shell of a building while achieving all requirements posed by the client - a house connected with nature, exalting pleasant vibes, and one that is simple to perceive.
