Pedagogy in Secondary Education School Universidad Católica / Alberto Moletto + Sebastián Paredes

The building for the school of Pedagogy in Secondary Education is located within the San Joaquin Campus for the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. The building is adjacent to the Faculty of Education Building, built and expanded over the years 1995 and 2006 showing the versatility and adaptability of the requested program. In this way, the project, together with the existing buildings, make a space dedicated to Education within the 45 hectares Campus. Another condition of the project is to be located parallel to a secondary path of the campus behind a line of existing trees which will give protection and privacy to the project.

A well-established urban residential area in the city of Santo Tirso - The intervention is inevitably a reflex response to this complex and challenging context. Urban plot, confined between neighbors and whose visible confrontations had little or nothing significant from the landscape point of view.

The Village of Caraíva, located in the state of Bahia, Brazil, is a place ahead of its time, despite maintaining the characteristics of a fishing village where there are no cars, no public lighting and its streets preserve the magic of the sand between the delta of the Caraíva river and the Pataxó village. Inspired by this magical scenery and reflecting on how and where to find quality of life in a slower pace, the Lua Nova house was created, located on this peninsula bathed by the waters of the river and the sea. If before it was Empty Luxury that sparkled the eyes, today we need to reinvent ourselves to meet an increasingly discreet, contemplative and conscious demand seeking luxury in the perfect simplicity of Nature.
