Amber Kampot Resort / Bloom Architecture

Amber Kampot is a resort project undertaken by Bloom in early 2018. In the context of an Asian mangrove at the foot of the magnificent Bokor Mountains, Bloom investigates a Kampot-specific luxury retreat that would delve into the Cambodian culture. Curated for the modern traveler, contemporary villas are inserted organically like local fisherman villages as the resort paths meander.

Seiromushi Cuisine Restaurant / Design Studio Minoo*

Designstudiominwoo* has created two spaces to feel differently under the concept of "TIMELESS MODERNITY," which does not change over time. The world entering through two roads from the entrance is the same, but it gives a different feeling. The first hall space, which entered through the forked road, reflected faintly with the light falling from the high ceiling, imagining fog in the pond. A quiet stonework is located on the pond, creating an atmosphere of space. Objects with different physical properties made of triangular horns above them become the point of space. The second room space of the forked road is reminiscent of the light from the wall shining through the trees, expressing the beauty of soft light. The space composition of Otsu-seiromushi is largely composed of an entrance, a hall, a room, and a kitchen, and each created a different space scene.

Noir Peaks / The Ranch Mine

Emerging from the harsh yet beautiful landscape of the San Francisco Volcanic Field in Flagstaff, Arizona, “Noir Peaks” is a new 2405 square foot house designed by The Ranch Mine. The formation of the landscape and a nearby aspen stand informed the exterior design while the interiors were inspired by the Danish concept of Hygge, creating a refuge to recover, rest, reflect and re-energize before heading out on the next adventure.

MTMG House / NOARQ

A single-family house looking at the city of Santo Tirso, from the north bank of the River Ave. The clients' requests assumed a certain ambition. Not in the extension of the program, but particularly in the comfort of the interior areas. I remember some special demands: an indoor pool; an elevated floor intended for resting, turned towards the sanctuary of Nª. Senhora da Assunção; transparency and light above all.
