Atelier-A / DUB Arquitectura

Art in real contact with nature. Andy is a visual artist who loves painting while watching the Pampean plains of the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Atelier-A is her working station, within a woodland of acacias that cast mesmerizing shadows on the translucent-fabric roof of the building.

House MYO / Raul Gobetti Arquiteto e Associados

The starting point for the implantation of the MYO house was the geographical position of the lot, located on a slope, facing an area of native forest, facing the setting sun. The option was to position the construction as high as possible on the lot, guaranteeing privacy and a privileged view from the living and leisure areas to an area of native forest, while protecting the view from the scorching west face.

SAW Factory & Offices / Chris Briffa Architects

A contemporary extension to an existing furniture factory and offices, built out of precast concrete elements, which wrap the entire site perimeter with an elegant, ribbed, curtain-like veil, while enclosing the naturally lit manufacturing spaces within. The roof-top offices are built around light shafts and terraces, allowing natural light to pour in, and landscaping to the working areas.

Hat House / Tina Bergman Architect

Dubbed The Hat House, for its resemblance to a Swedish fairytale about three children living in a hat, this small cabin lies hidden in a birch forest in the Swedish mountains, just below the treeline and with a meadow underfoot.
