Bridge to the Arts / LOMA architecture. landscape. urbanism

On the initiative of the Institute for Design Practice and Art Science at Leibniz University Hannover, access to the institute's own branch at Königsworther Platz was to be redesigned. In order to draw attention to the variety of events and exhibitions, the gallery spaces, which are almost inaccessible from the outside, should be brought into the public eye. In terms of content, the realized artwork "Bridge to the Arts" and the gallery "Look and Think", which is anchored in the ground, are closely related since the existing gallery structure is thematically portrayed as a pedestal and container for art, and the bridge floating on that pedestal is reflected artistically.

A Garden / Fangwei Architect

Gardening has always been a representation of people's pursuit of the ideal living environment. This project closely follows the functions of Only Flower floral art studio's creations and external displays by providing the necessary conditions for florists to create beauty. The interior and exterior spaces merge with each other and integrate organically with the landscape through a unified architectural language. In doing so, a serene and dreamlike “garden of flowers” is created. The flower — is a signifier of beauty and vitality. As a floral studio, we established this simple and beautiful little courtyard in Hongxing Guangyuan Industrial Park in Beijing's Daxing District, where it was converted from an old factory building. A free-flowing curved glass-brick wall connects the interior and exterior with a cohesive architectural language that leads guests through the entranceway, where they may carry on into the interior, or linger in the courtyard to indulge in a moment of tranquility

Hiroshima Global Academy / CAn

A large school that integrates architecture and nature. This school is a dormitory-based middle and high school integrated education school planned in Osakikamijima, Hiroshima Prefecture, in order to develop leaders who can create a "better future" in various regions and around the world.

Buan Art Factory / Narrative Architects

Buan Salt Factory, located in the old city center near the local permanent market, produced refined salt through the traditional method. This market had played an important role in Buan where the fisheries industry was developed but finally remained in ruins after its operation was suspended in 2009. The Buan Art Factory is located at the site of this salt factory. The atypical lot is deep inside, with a narrow entrance. As an urban regeneration facility for local residents traveling to and from the market, the long metal facade has strong recognition toward the permanent market.
