88 Coronation Residence / Quod Architects

We designed a residential house for an idealized family life, that is environmentally sustainable and responsive to our tropical climate. The house was envisioned to be open to the natural environment since the owners loved gardening, and breezy, and encouraged interaction between family members.

Van Hien University Vietnam / DE-SO

In 2018, Hung Hau Group contacted DE-SO Asia to renovate the main building’s facades of Van Hien University, located in Binh Chanh district of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The mission was to continue the project’s construction by redesigning the facades based on the existing structure of the building. The proposed facade needed to match the client’s vision. Instead of a neo-classical architectural approach, the client wanted the University to be more contemporary and dynamic.  

House of Light Well No.2 / YD Architects

This is originally a row house for decades, which is attached to one of the row houses in the block. The total length of the row house is about 30 meters. The original building structure is divided into two buildings at the front and back by the light well in the middle. The original light well only served the function of additional daylighting, which is surrounded by negative spaces such as stairs and toilets. The front of the row house faces the narrow and dense commercial street, and the backyard is used as the main entrance of the house.

SFEEL Designer Hotel / HARMO Design

SFEEL Designer Hotel TaiKoo Li is located in Dong'an South Road, Chengdu. It used to be one of the areas with the eldest Chengdu flavor, with Chunxi Road and Shuijingfang in the south, Caojia Lane, and Ma'an Road in the north. After more than 20 years of urban construction and development, most of the city fireworks in the past have been replaced by the fashionable Taikoo Li, 339, and Lan Guifang, but there are still some old shops to be demolished. This scene of the coexistence of the old and the new is full of drama.
