Four & Four House / Mcleod Bovell Modern Houses

Situated on a steep waterfront lot flanked by a suburban context, the Four & Four House knits together the client’s affinity for mid-century, post-and-beam construction with contemporary adaptations. Alaska State Library Archives Museum / Hacker Architects

Located on the waterline at the entrance to downtown Juneau, the Andrew P. Kashevaroff State Library, Archives, and Museum is the new anchor for a budding arts and culture district in Alaska’s capital city. Known as SLAM, this new facility is designed as a consolidated home for the Alaska state museum, archives, and library divisions, whose shared mission is to preserve, protect, and share Alaska’s historical artifacts and documents.

Interwoven Installation / Atelier Cho Thompson

Interwoven is a temporary installation sited on the landmark Flatiron Public Plaza in New York City, where it was visited by over two million passersby during its two-month launch. Designed after eighteen months of the pandemic, Interwoven celebrates the joys of once again intersecting with our community in public space. Inspired by the dynamic geometry of intersections that form the Flatiron Building’s shape and America's woven tapestry of cultures, the installation is an unfolding set of parabolic archways that frame iconic views of the city and offer places to rest, play, and gather together.

Belvedere Stairs / Bertrand Taquet Architectes

The Dunois school group was built in the second half of the 1970s. It is located in the Chevaleret district, an example of the "slab urbanism" that was very present at that time. The school is bordered by the "Pyramides" towers, iconic buildings of the 13th arrondissement of Paris.
