Black Pearl House / QBO3 Arquitectos

Black Pearl House is a wonderful example of how modern architecture can harmoniously blend with the tropical environment. The design team focused on highlighting the purity of form through the use of rationalist features such as right angles and precise decompositions, creating visuals that integrate with the natural environment's highlights. The goal was to reinterpret the tropical lifestyle of the area, using streamlined and contemporary lines that blend the interior spaces with the landscape.

Mansa House / Stemmer Rodrigues Arquitetura

A completely ground-level, cozy house that would bring a sense of well-being and calmness to enjoy weekends: these were the owner's requests for the design of a 201m² house, located in Xangri-lá, a city near Porto Alegre, for the architecture firm Stemmer Rodrigues. In addition, the team had the challenge of executing the project in just six months and intervening as little as possible on the terrain while maintaining one hundred percent of the large trees already existing on the site.

Høje-Taastrup City Hall / PLH Arkitekter

In Høje-Taastrup you find one of Denmark's most innovative and unique city halls. The "Citizens' House" is ambitious and forward-looking in its design – featuring a great work environment, sustainable solutions, and visions of strengthening the local communities. Nine floors. Eye-catching, transparent facade with playful angles. Large, inviting rooftop terrace, which can be opened to the public. Høje-Taastrup's city hall stands out as a significant architectural landmark. The building is designed by PLH Arkitekter in collaboration with ALL and COWI out of a vision of developing modern, flexible work environments for employees, while at the same time giving back to the city and its citizens.

Fresnos House / delavegacanolasso

A land with a significant slope, filled with pine and oak trees and covered by a green mantle of spring, was what we found the first time we visited the place. An environment to respect and enhance. With its own identity and characteristics. It's beautiful when the site suggests from the beginning the place the house should occupy. The clearing of light between the pines even drew its dimension, marking its boundaries that did not grow with the desire to maintain all the trees and alter the terrain as little as possible. Therefore, the structure starts from the natural level, supported on a wall from which a strutted cantilever originates. From there, you can enjoy the views of the privileged pine forest that we already intuited, during the pleasant picnics we had in what now occupies the terrace. In it, a gap is cut to let the trunk of a pine tree pass.
