In the beautiful scene of efficiency, convenience, and diversity brought by intelligent Internet, students have completed the survival feat of staying indoors and "I have everything in my hand". However, the shift of student life to the virtual world is bound to lead to the decline of physical space on campus. Therefore, trying to return students from the online world to the real world becomes the key point of the design.

Since the Joseon Dynasty, the Euljiro area has developed into a metal manufacturing and processing industry. At that time, the area around Euljiro was also called 'Gurigae' because it looked like copper glistening in sunlight from a distance. Euljiro, where the sound of metal being cut and overlapped, and the momentary light at the moment of welding fills the streets, creates a unique atmosphere where the old and the new coexist.

Mulmur Hills Farm / Turkel Design

Reflecting the owners’ long-standing respect and love for the nineteenth-century farm and buildings gracing its 100-acre site, Mulmur Hills Farm carefully settles at the edge of a nearby forest. Beyond a wall of stacked local granite, the rooms of the home open graciously out to views and fields, welcoming the free flow of breezes and the movement of family, friends, and dogs alike.

The assignment was to design a country house. The place should be the same that has been occupied by the old house that hosted the family for 35 years, since around it a large park had developed over the years, with great dedication. Always with the idea of doing the definitive house, the park was slowly consolidated through a masterplan that included stables, pens, water mirrors, a swimming pool, and a barbecue area.
