When walking through a forest, we can glimpse paths between the trees that are not really paths. Sometimes clearings open up on their sides, other times they continue without apparent end, getting lost in the thickets. Casa Galería proposes a way of inhabiting and walking as a continuation of the forest in which it is located. A path marked by vertical elements with clearings - or spaces to be in - attached to this route.

This renovation and addition unravels a chapter of ill-considered renovations to create an urban retreat for a young family on a remarkable site. By re-using more than half of the original structure and improving the home's environmental performance, the project also minimizes the 4000 SF home’s embodied carbon and ongoing carbon footprint.

Küster Brizola Arquitetos and Monofloor Microcimento is an office located in a modernist building in Curitiba’s downtown. The 200 m² office space, with an open plan and surrounded by large windows, allow for abundant natural light and panoramic views of the city.

Römerstrasse Baden Apartments / Michael Meier Marius Hug Architekten

The city of Baden owes its name to the hot springs at the Limmatknie. The Römerstrasse, named after the builders, leads from the town center to the industrial area. This is where Brown, Boveri & Cie – today's ABB – was founded in 1891.
